- Description: A relaxed Killymoon Creek adventure, rock hopping upstream through glorious creek country, green ants, granite boulders, a resident eel, and even a "dragon egg". Dry conditions meant no swim this time, but the creek still delivered plenty of character.

I thought I'd let our little group of adventurers sleep in this morning and went with a generous start time of 8.30 am. So after some serious chats with the ponies and a few choice words with the goats, we were on our way.

The creek was as glorious as ever, if a little dry for this time of the year, and we only had to stop once to relocate some resident green ants.

We decided not to disturb grandfather eel and skipped the usual swim at the top water hole in exchange for an early finish.

The creek was pleased with us and rewarded Debbie's kind words about how excellent the rocks were with a dragon egg to admire. However, Neli's frequent compliments that many of the rocks resembled baked goods did not result in a basket of muffins appearing.

I have told the creek it will have to do better next time.
