How fit do you need to be to bushwalk with us? A reasonable analogy would be being able to walk the "Goat Track" on Castle Hill for 2 to 3 hours and feel that you could happily turn around after an hour's lunch break and do it again, plus carrying a small backpack.

You need to be aerobically fit, have good stamina and endurance for 6-8 hours of bushwalking in a day, as well as good balance to navigate uneven terrain and "rock-hop". For multi-day hikes, good endurance is required, along with the ability to carry a 10-15 kg backpack.
