New Members & Visitors

We extend a warm welcome to visitors and prospective new members of all backgrounds to the club. To participate in club activities, you need to be 12 years or older. Visitors are required to attend the monthly meeting to join a bushwalk. To qualify to become a Townsville Bushwalking Club member, you must complete a minimum of three (3) walks and be accepted by the Club Committee.

It is crucial that you take responsibility for your fitness and well-being for the planned walk, ensuring it is within your capabilities. If you have any doubts, please ask the Walk Leader at the pre-walk meeting.

You will need cash for the walk fee ($5) and to contribute towards fuel costs when sharing a vehicle. We also need you to bring a spare set of clothes to leave in the vehicle for the return journey.
