Alligator Creek Falls - Trip Report
A fun day out at Alligator Creek Falls! Eleven hikers enjoyed bush tracks, two chilly river crossings, and the breathtaking waterfall. Some braved a swim while others relaxed on the rocks. Laughter, photos, and shared snacks made the return walk just as memorable.

Our hike to Alligator Creek Falls was a day full of fun. Eleven of us set off together, chatting as we followed the track through the bush. The path was steady, with trees all around and the sound of water in the distance keeping us moving forward.

Not too far in, we reached the first river crossing. The water was cold but not too deep, and we all got our feet wet as we made our way across. The second crossing came a little later, and by then no one minded—we just walked straight through, laughing about our soggy shoes.

When the trail finally opened up to the falls, it was worth it. The water dropped hard into a big pool below, and we all stopped to take it in. A few people decided to swim, braving the cold water and getting right up close to the spray. The rest of us stayed on the rocks, watching, taking photos, and cheering them on.
The walk back was slower, with tired legs and wet shoes, but no one complained. We joked around, shared snacks, and talked about the best moments of the day. By the time we reached the car park, everyone agreed it had been a great hike—two crossings, one waterfall, and a group of eleven people making the most of it together.
