Duncans Bluff & Mt Arthur Scott
Duncans Bluff, Mt Arthur Scott, & Mt Westminster Abbey, Aug–Sep 1972: rugged North Queensland bushwalk with steep creek ascents, rainforest, cliffs, and marvellous ridge views. Campsites offered sweeping vistas, with rock-hopping creeks and routes for classic wilderness adventure.

Duncans Bluff - 19-21st Aug. 1972
MT Westminster Abbey - 20th Sep 1972
①-② creek section is good method of ascent - upper part is full of loose gravel + rather steep & unpleasant
②-③ open forest ridge
③-④ rainforest. Water at ④
④-⑤ open forest + rainforest - fairly thick in places
⑤ excellent campsite - marvellous views
⑤-⑥ similar to ④ to ⑤
⑥ steep - find way around cliffs
⑥-⑦ rainforest
⑦- below good rock hopping ck.
⑧ went astray - returned to car 10 AM Monday

Conclusions
Mt Arthur Scott did not impress, but Duncans Bluff is excellent - approaching Hinchinbrook in character & views. A walk along the Duncans Bluff - Westminster Ally ridge including both of these & perhaps ending up in Broadwater Ck would be a worthwhile trip.
