YAMANIE CK.

Map: Kirrama 1:100,000

Time required - 2 days

A delightful creek with many waterfalls and long pools.

There are a number of compulsory swims and some

short jumps. The route shown on the map provides

quite easy going except for the short ridge crossing

at 720713 which has a section of thick wait-a-while.

The remaining ridge walk was not too bad at 1km/h.

The alternative route, although it avoids some really

lovely sections of Yamanie Ck. would be recommended

for a 2-day walk. The two falls marked on the

map are both avoided fairly easily on the true left.
