How fit do you need to be to bushwalk with us? A reasonable analogy would be capable to walk the "Goat track" on Castle Hill for 2 to 3 hours and feel you could happily turn around after an hour lunch break and do it again - plus carrying a small backpack.
You need to be aerobically fit, have good stamina and endurance for 6-8 hours bushwalking in a day, as well as good balance to bushwalk uneven terrain and "rock- hop". For multi-day hikes, good endurance with a 10-15 kg backpack is required.
