After years, Luen finally explored Williams Creek with Debbie and found the small falls he had long suspected were there. A fun off-track day of ridgeline walking, creek hopping, rainforest scenery, and a swim.

A three-day Porcupine Gorge Easter adventure saw four Townsville Bushwalking Club members hike 26 km through sandstone gorge country, creek crossings, Lookout Gorge, and White Wall, with base camp at the Amphitheatre under brilliant outback night skies.
Paluma
A tough two-person adventure to Little Gin Creek in Paluma Range National Park, with cassowary signs, thick rainforest, wait-a-while, slippery cascades, and a steep off-track climb out making for a big, rewarding day.

Mingela State Forest
Climb Mt Flagstone in Mingela State Forest on this bushwalk near Townsville. An ~5 km circuit through open grasslands, bluffline scrambles and ridgeline views to a summit with a rusty trig and sweeping North Queensland vistas.
A hard two-day rainforest adventure in Wooroonooran National Park, exploring ABC Falls, Moochoopa Falls, Amphitheatre Falls, lava formations, remote campsites, and rugged off-track wilderness.
Girringun National Park
Explore a remote waterfall in Girringun National Park on this tough overnight off-track adventure. Thick rainforest, wait-a-while, leeches, rough camping, drone views, and a dramatic ~270 m cliff made for a memorable slog.
